Community Resources in Louisiana
Being aware of our mental wellbeing is vital to our overall health. Our mental health dictates the way we interact with our family and friends at work and at school. It dictates our feelings, our thoughts, and our behaviors. It affects our day-to-day lives. When you’re struggling, it may seem impossible to find help, but there are many available resources in our community to help those who live with mental health problems. You just need to know where to look.
What to Look For

- Insomnia or fatigue
- A change in appetite or significant, sudden weight gain or loss
- Difficulty coping with a recent loss, like a death or the end of a relationship
- Feeling so overwhelmed by your current circumstances that you cannot focus on everyday activities
- Thoughts of hurting yourself or others
